LA JOURNÉE SUR L’INTERCULTURALITÉ / CITOYENS DU MONDE
Through Waters works with the students on the cultural value of water. This action focuses on a presentation of the works and meanings of water in its different forms / drawings of students / atelier with the Primary School. Through our laboratories in schools we enhance to aware students to think about water as fundamental element to be discovered.
The day of "Citoyens du monde", organized by the French School of Rome - Lycée Chateaubriand, is a important moment where we present the result of our workshop with students during the year in their classes.
The drawings were exposed during this day in the locals and garden of the school.
WORLD WATER DAY 2014
Water and energy are closely interlinked and interdependent.
Energy generation and transmission requires utilization of water resources, particularly for hydroelectric, nuclear, and thermal energy sources. Conversely, about 8% of the global energy generation is used for pumping, treating and transporting water to various consumers.
ARTWATERENESS 2014 / CAMBODIA
Together with UNESCO Cambodia, two local WASH NGOs, RACHA and 1001 TEUK SAAT, and a non-profit artists group dedicated to experimental art practices, SASA ARTS PROJECT, we join culture and science, bringing together knowledge, awareness and art.
Through Waters team rides their bicycles to take a movable adaptation of TW Photo Exhibition touring across the communities generating awareness about water. The activity enables cultural exchange: on one hand, we give people the chance to get in touch with new artistic expressions, on the other, we encourage them to reflect about their personal stories about water, generating and sharing their own creations by means of workshops. This four months cross-cultural adventure is broadcasted in a real time multimedia experience.
SALINA DOC FESTIVAL 2013

During the SalinaDocFest THROUGH WATERS / 27 shoots selected of the TW edition 2013/2014 are exposed at the CONFERENCE HALL in MALFA - SALINA and PAPAGAYÓ in SANTA MARINA - SALINA.
The theme of Salina DOC FESTIVAL 2013 that TW is presenting during the festival of documentaries is WATERS as COMMON GOOD. Our policy is to enhance awareness and consciousness of value of water worldwide through art.

Through Waters opens the first exhibit with a international conference in Beijing about the sensitive focus on WATER. The exhibit is a journey through the shoots of photographers which have participated on the selection 2012.
Today 14th September the Conference will open with our guest of honor MA JUN.
Studies and reflection on environmental problems worldwide will be presented by interdisciplinary professional to make us awake and improve possible solutions. Our common goal is to protect and aware the value of this precious element, WATER.
Participants Ma Jun, UNESCO Beijing, Thirst4Water, Italian Embassy of Beijing, Anthropologist and students. We emphasize the importance of creating a dialogue between different academic disciplines and strategies for defining the valorization of water as a key element to be protected and discover.
